The Story
Hi! I'm Henry, and my journey to CartoonAI is a bit unconventional. I spent 5 years working in finance, but I always felt the urge to create something meaningful. I wanted to build products that people actually love and use, not just analyze numbers.
So I decided to learn to code. I started from scratch, teaching myself programming while working full-time. After gaining some experience, I joined a startup to learn how to build products in a real environment. But I wanted more control over what I was building.
That's when I became an indie hacker. CartoonAI started as a weekend experiment - I wanted to see if I could create a tool that would let anyone turn their photos into beautiful cartoons. Today, it helps hundreds of people create special gifts and preserve their memories in a unique way. And yes, I'm living from this application!
